- crimp beads, eight
- 1-inch 4-strand end bars, two
- jump ring
- spring ring
- Miscellaneous items:
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Tape measure
-
- needlenose pliers
1. To make each bracelet, refer to manufacturer’s instructions to string warp threads on loom. String 17 threads across, one bead width apart. Note: Be sure to allow 6 inches of thread beyond bracelet.
2. Measure wrist to determine bracelet length. Finished designs are 71/4 inches long. For more length, add extra solid rows at each end of the graph. Note: Eleven rows equal 1 inch.
3. To bead, refer to the Bead Graphs in the pattern file you can print by clicking on the Pattern File link above. Symbols correspond to colors in the Color Key. Tie a 24-inch thread to first warp thread with square knot, leaving a 6-inch tail. Thread 16 dark blue beads for angel bracelet and 16 white beads for Santa bracelet. Refer to manufacturer’s instructions to begin weaving.
To end and begin threads, weave the ends into the woven sections up and down the rows. Weave in the beginning tail.
4. To complete the angel bracelet, thread needle and weave in end. Bring needle up above the light blue bead in top left corner of wreath and string on three red beads. Pass over the and thread needle through the be below.
Bring needle up above the first green bead on of wreath and string on two green beads. Pass over bead and thread needle through the bead below.
Repeat to bead entire wreath, stringing three red beads in two more corners. Weave in thread end.
5. Cut weaving from loom leaving at least 6 inches of warp threads on each side.
Divide warp threads into four groups. Run one group of threads through a crimp bead, through hole in bar, and back through the crimp bead. Pull threads tight and flatten crimp bead with pliers.
Weave each thread back through the woven piece and trim. Repeat for each warp thread group on each end.
Attach jump ring to one bar and spring ring to the other.
6. To complete the Santa bracelet, thread needle and weave in end. Bring needle up above top left white beard bead and string on three white beads.
Pass over bead and thread needle through the next bead. Continue down row, then up next row, stringing four loops of beads per row, until all six beard rows are covered.
7. To finish, refer to Step 5 to cut from loom and attach jewelry findings.
