| Does anyone know how to releave a pinched nerve without going to the doctor? My pinky and ring finger and the part of my hand under them has been numb since yesterday. Mom said I got a pinched nerve. I sleep on my forearms abnd hands. So having a pinched nerve is not good. Sleeping on my hand makes it worse. | | | | | Senior Member Level up: 14%, 47 Points needed |

| I only wish I knew how to relieve a pinched nerve. I definitely feel for you. If I come accross any remedies I will let you know first thing. I have pinched nerves in my neck and back that cause numbness in my hand and leg and not even the doctors have been able to take care of it. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Meickle For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member Level up: 32%, 167 Points needed |

| It's annoying anit it. I tend to stab myself with my cross stitch needles. A few times today I have done it. I don't know what hurts worse. Stabbing a numb area or an un numb area. | | | | | Member Level up: 13%, 48 Points needed |

| I have had that many times and when that happens I use a wrist brace that you can buy at Walmart or drug store. Hope this helps. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to dpinkiecrafts For This Useful Post: | | | Moderator Level up: 36%, 315 Points needed |

| Did some research and here is what I found...hope this helps! The most frequently recommended treatment for pinched nerve is rest for the affected area. Your doctor will ask you to stop any activities that cause or aggravate the compression. Depending on the location of the pinched nerve, you may need a splint or brace to immobilize the area. If you have carpal tunnel syndrome, your doctor may recommend wearing a splint at night as well as during the day because wrists flex and extend frequently during sleep. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to dpinkiecrafts For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member Level up: 32%, 167 Points needed |

| I slept on my left side instead of the right last night. It helped some. I'v got most the feeling back in that part of my hand. I have an ace bandage somewhere that I could use too. I just have to find it. I use it on my ankel with my athuritis acts up. | | | | |
