| I had my gall bladder removed 2 years ago, in-out surgery, 4 little cuts, did really well but was allergic to the stitches. Never had anymore problems with eatting salads, ect. Good luck, I'm sure you will be fine.

| Hey Deb. Glad you're getting it taken care of quickly. Don't push going back to work too soon though. I went back the next Monday after my surgery (it was on a thursday I think) and ended up feeling crappy. My co-worker and boss made me go home and stay home for a couple more days. Even thought the surgery is fairly easy, you're still put completely out and just the anesthetic has a stressful effect on your body. The major plus for me was that I didn't have much of an appetite after the surgery for about 2 weeks and I ended up loosing 20 pounds!!!! | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to bartkowski mom For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member Points: 14,970, Level: 53 | Level up: 54%, 480 Points needed |

| Hey Deb~ I had mine out about 5 years ago!! In on Friday at 11 am home by 3:30 pm. Back to work 1/2 on Monday and back to full time on Tuesday. I had 3 attacks 3 Friday nights in a row~as soon as I explained my issue with my Dr. he knew just what was going on. You will for sure feel so much better once this is removed! Thinking about you!! mgf~ | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to MyGirlFriday For This Useful Post: | | | Moderator Level up: 33%, 309 Points needed |

| Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I'm going to attempt to go to my company picnic today. Figure all I got to do is eat a bit and listed for door prizes then I can come back home.
So far I haven't really lost any weight. I can eat whatever I want, but I do notice I don't have the appetite I did before the surgery back yet. | | | | < |
