Great ideas!

I will add - if you can, invest in a teflon frying pan I don't add Pam or water to cook my meat! it doesn't stick I got my big fry pan from Costco last year for $20 and I love it!

Another is - Although I like the ideas about taking your time etc, with a young child, it just isn't possible. One thing that I will do however is. Instead of putting everything I want her to eat on her plate, I put half as much. then if she eats all of that, she can pick from MY portion if she wants more (because everyone KNOWS MOM's food is better! ). I found that I would eat her left overs (I hate wasting).... so her eating from my portion is a 2x bonus! I always use iron skillets.... if you keep them "seasoned" with crisco, they never stick... and they also give you a little boost of iron.

I have a another one....

Treat food as FUEL!!!

Eat only what is needed to keep you going nothing more!!!

You wouldn't over fill you car with gass or oil, as it wouldn't work properly right, so why do it to your body???!!!!

Think about a car that is flooded, does it move??? What happens when you put too much oil in a car, does it work right???

Anyw we all know what sugar does to a car or body right???

So why do it to you poor body?? Just what is needed!!!!!

When you sit down to eat, say to yourself, food is just fuel, don't over do it!!!

Maybe it will help!!!

I know that I have stopped overeating. I'm tired of that I can't move feeling, and then, you feel sick for a few hours.

I am eating less also, because everything tastes salty. I don't know why, but, I'm not going to worry about it. It's helping me.

Good Luck to All.

Heres a meal trick that the nurse mentioned at the clinic on a weigh in once and I tried it the other day, and just loved it!!

When you make spegetti for the rest of the family, and have a meat sauce, use lean ground or turkey breat ground and for you instead of the pasta, shread up some cabage and boil it and eat it with the meat sauce!! It is wonderful!!

I can't wait to have it again!!

Grant loves pasta, so this is perfect for me so I don't have to cook another meal for me!!
