Any Fibrmyalgia sufferers here?

I could sure use a friend who understands some of what I go through, especially when I am in a flare....And boy, am I in one now :/

OOOO yes I know what you mean Hugs to ya gee I don't get massages any more an that was a real blessing.... But water thearpy works well if u have a gym you can go to to work out and get in water a few days aweek really will help the pain and the sauna too ... Sorry I didn't post a reply sooner! I suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis, and a stroke to my left side. I hate to say it, don't know if it's true of other fibromyalgia suffers, but even when I'm not in a flare, I hurt like the dickens! AND I just discovered my insurance changed the cost of prescriptions from $5 to $16 for a 3 month supply to $20 for generic and $50 for name brand, of course, there is no generic for Lyrica!

Hello......I am in a flare now, I hurt all over, my muscles and joints and I feel like I could sleep all day because I was up and down all night with the pain.

I used to take lodine and amitriptyline at bedtime and it really helped. I can no longer take the lodine on my stomach because i had lapband surgery. My doctor is not keen on Lyrica because of weight gain but if i continue to feel like this i may have to try it.

I hate Summer, but now that its getting cooler, the pains tend to get worse. And this is my favorite season!!
Am trying to get stuff done for several shows coming up and fighting my body through it.
Funny thing though, I am enjoying the process of getting crafts done inspite of it. Crazy I guess.
