of being tired. It is really making me more depressed and stressed than usual. Doctors can never seem to figure it out. I've been walking alot and getting outside in my garden, but now it's getting to the time of year where it is cold and raining and pretty soon s@@@. Thanks for letting me vent. I hope someone can figure it out soon. I don't know if it's my thyroid that is off again or what, but it is frustrating.
There are so many things it could be. Your Dr really needs to do a full blood work up. Being low in iron..anemic..can really kick your butt. There are a couple different other sleep disorders also. Isn't good to guess. The more you get yourself depressed about it, the worse it's going to get
My ex-husband has sleep apnea as well as Narcolypsy..the sleep disorder that makes you fall asleep out of nowhere.
There is also Epstein Barr & chronic fatigue syndrome. I have CFS. Both can be found with blood tests. I truely hope it isn't mononucleosis. So, a Dr. doing tests is very much needed.
mrscutter I know how you feel, ever since I went through menopause I stay tired.I tell hubby that I am as tired when I wake in the morning as when I went to bed.And I am tired all day long. The sleep apnia is a possiblity with me as both my brothers were diagnosed with it.But I have not had the test because I have no insurance and can not afford the test. Hope you find out your problem soon.
I'm afraid I have to agree with the rest of the gals, mrscutter......get some blood work done. There are so many possibilities of what could be causing your tiredness from a simple hormone imbalance to a life-altering condition so it is best to get things checked out. Patricia's idea of searching the net is a good one too, since it might help you eliminate some the the possible reasons for the fatigue. Like the old adage says "Better safe than sorry"! Hope you start to get some answers soon!
I'm tired all the time too, but that's do to stress and my body being on a very strange sleep routine. But get the blood work done. Your dr should have already tested your blood. Whenever there is anything wrong with me the first thing my navy doc did was test my blood. So have that done and hopefully it will give you a reason for you not being able to sleep.
Momo15 mom's in pre menopuase and is always tired as well.
I know it is frustrating to feel tired all the time at not know why. I went through a time about 2 years ago when I was just tired all the time and didn't feel good. Had to just force myself to do anything. I had been laid off my job and didn't have insurance. I know I don't always eat right. I started doing a vitamin and mineral supplementation and it has really helped. I feel much better and have more energy. I have quit taking them at times for a month or so and I start having less energy and not feeling good, so I go back on them and I feel better. Anyway, it has helped me. Hang in there!!

I was tired all the time because of restless legs. Since taking a med for it I sleep much better. I agree you should have blood work done. Very important as being tired all the time can be a number of different things.
