So, had a great fourth of july, except that I got bit by a darn cat!
My in-laws have two cats, princess and mr. kitty. Well princess is so darn annoying, cuz she is always at your side purring... seriously that is my kind of cat cuz i love to cuddle. But Mr. Kitty- back off! That cat will start at you the minute you walk in the door. Well I have a jack russel puppy and my 1 year old opened the door and let my puppy in the house.... well thats Mr. Kittys terratory, you hear? and well i tried to get my puppy before the cat saw but it was too late.. it latched onto my leg and wouldnt let goo... with its teeth. Well it got even more upset becuase it couldnt get its bottom tooth out of my leg and it took 3 people to get him off!! crazy...
Needless to say, cats mouths are very bacterial, i got an infection, it infected my throat and chest, and now I have a verry scratchy throat and can BARELY talk. erg.
SALT WATER, thats all i know of to make a throat feel better. I got shots today from the doc, and some medicine, but how long does it take. im in pain! erg.

That is horrible!! Is that what they call "cat scratch fever...or bite" in this case?? What did your inlaws have to say about the cat attacking you?? Hope you get to feeling better really soon! mgf~
I hope you're doing better. Cat bites should be taken seriously. I'm a vet tech, and worked at a clinic now for 18 years. I'm glad you got treated. some people don't and have gotten seriously ill. A friend of mine almost lost his hand. His own cat bit him and he didn't go to the docter, even though he called me and asked if he should. well, he ended up in the hospital, and had to be given injections, because oral meds didn't phase him. His hand swelled up twice the size and he couldn't bend his fingers for over a week. He now listens to me!!! Get well soon ok... shelly
