I've lost some weight! Not enough to write home about, but it is a start. I had better get that treadmill set up soon or you guys will pass me by.
With everything going on here it has been a little hard to stay on track. Soon I hope to really get into the swing of things. I want to lose quite a bit before Thanksgiving. I would love to surprise everyone with enough of a loss so they will notice.
How are you guys doing? It's pretty quiet here. We need updates.
I have gained! I'm up to 188 now. I was at 183 a month ago. All the traveling I've done hasn't been good for my diet! But I'm home now and I can get back to eating better.
UGH! So far, no good. I have no excuse...... I'm just lazy. I really hate to get on the treadmill when Rich and the boys (or I should say boy) are home. Way too self consious I guess. I try for 15 to 20 minutes after I get home from work, while I'm making supper, before they get home. Doesn't always happen. Last night they got home right after I did! Tonight though, they're staying after practice and going to the Volleyball match..... AND... I put a roast, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot this morning before I left for work. NO EXCUSE TONIGHT!!!
I am the same way Norene! That's the same reason why I don't like to go to the gym. I am going to get myself the Wii Fit sometime soon. Ray has agreed to do that with me. He is also trying to lose some of his extra padding.
We have eight days until the mid contest weigh in. If I don't get moving I will be awfully embarrased. We have no place to put the treadmill right now so I'm not getting any exercise. It's a lousy excuse, but, it is the only one I have right now. I hope you ladies are doing better.
Well I just had my bi weekly weigh in for WFL. I have lost 2 pounds! Not much but it's a start in the right direction.
Hubby surprised me and brought home a Wii Fit Plus! I am really going to have to fight for time on it. The boys have made their own profiles on it and are working out too! They think it's all fun & games because they are skiing & snow boarding & playing other games which is actually toning their stomach muscles. I just want to do the Yoga & aerobics.
Hey girls, we missed our midway weigh in. I thought of it today at the dr's office when they weighed me. I now weigh.... 184.5 lbs.! I am happy with that number. Let's hear from you gals now. We still have a bunch of time until the end of the contest.
