I haven't posted in a couple of days.

Time is running short for me to fit into the 10's, but I'm not giving up!

I will be working out everyday until the 26th and then I am going to take the 27th off and have a great day.

How are the rest of you doing? I hope you haven't given up. It's a long hard road but we can do it.

2 of the girls who play pool are now trying to lose weight. One is angry that she is dieting and hasn't lost any weight, ah exercise helps a bit. The other says she has a trainer friend and a nutrionist who is going to make her up a 2 week diet plan - plus recipes. It's great that they are both trying because of my success. I have to keep going - like the Energizer Bunny.

Tomorrow is another Saturday already. How fast time is flying by. The big question is will I wear my size 10's or 12's to the reunion.

I have changed my workout one more time.

If I was using 40 lbs, and doing 3 sets of 15 reps, I am now doing one set at 35, one at 40 and 1 at 45 - yes, I can't get 15 at the 45 weight, but that is the whole point - increase the weight. When I can do the 15 at the 45 and it becomes easier, I will do 40-45 and then struggle with the 50. It is slow going but I always feel good after I get through the workout.

I want to be slim and trim so that if all goes well and we move to Florida, I'll be in good shape and feel comfy by the pool or at the beach in a suit.

Still working heard to get the abs in shape - sometimes I think it will never happen, but I've only been at this since March 28, so June 28 is only 3 months. I WILL wear those hiphuggers and crop top so my pool team captain will have to choke on his T&T's.

Hubby keeps bragging about what I have done and am doing. Cool!

How about the rest of you? Haven't seen much posting going on.

Today is son's moving day - that will be enough of a workout.

Got on the scales today - another pound gone. 2 inches off of each thigh and a total of 5 inches of my waist. YES! It is coming off - no matter how much work it is or how long it takes, it feels sooo good. And you not only feel better about yourself, but you also LOOK better when you take a peek in the mirror!

Skipped on Sunday - shouldn't have, just to tired.

Oh well, back to the grind again as it is another Monday. Had a good workout, and man do I mean WORK out!

Saturday was good, I have now last 18 lbs and 24 inches.

The class reunion is on Saturday - sure is coming fast. I would like to have lost 20 lbs before then, but if I make it to 19 that is cool.

Now all I have to do is keep at it for the rest of my life - one day at a time. So today was a good day and hopefully tomorrow will be also.

I will be wearing my size 12 jeans. The 10's are a little tight and I would rather be comfortable instead of stuffed with "Muffin top" sides. Oh believe me, they will still be "Muffin top" sides, but not as bad as if I squeesed myself into the 10's. TeeHee.

Hope to see some more activity here. Hope everyone didn't give up on their diet and exercise routines only 6 months into this year. We are almost have way done with this year and com'on ladies - lets get M O V I N G and Git' 'er Done!

Made it through the class reunion. Boy was that ever fun! I had such a good time. Hamburg, hot dog, chicken, potato, corn on the cob, garden salad, macarooni salad, brownies, cookies, beans, yum! Opps. Well anyway, it was back on track for Sunday AND Monday. Now for the rest of the week.

Went to the doc's. Blood pressure had been 120/73, now its 120/69 down 4 points which is pretty good for 3 months of exercising. Doc was pleased to see how much weight has come off. Have to have blood work done in October and see her again in March. I hate having a "dead" thryoid.

Anyone else suffering from hypothryroidism(sp).

Funning thing to read the other day:

Abdicate - give up every having a flat tummy
Flabbergasted - amazied at how much weight I gained.

More later!

I'm happy you had a good time at your reunion. All of that work was worth it, I guess.

Yes, it was because it makes me feel better about the way I look and it has made "moving" around in this body a whole lot easier.

Now it's time to move on and get going with my next goal - attempt to loose 1 lb per week between now and Christmas. I still need to lose in the area of 50 lbs so I have a lot to go. Hopefully, if I do it slowly and gain muscle mass maybe the loose skin might not get to bad.

THe loose skin is one of my big fears. I know my belly will hang down to my knees. I have so many things wrong with me, noone would do any kind of surgery on me. I will have to live like that. I'm old so I don't really care. My days in a bikini are done.

I'm hoping my days in a bikini are just beginning - again. If all goes well we will be living in sunny Florida with our own pool and hopefully not to far from the ocean. I guess I'll have to get a tread climber and put it out on the lani so I can exercise by the pool - get hot - jump in and then do it all again.

Oh, and maybe get one of those waterproof outside TV's. Wouldn't that be a hoot!

Well, another Saturday has come and gone - as it is now Wednesday. I failed to report on Saturday - but I am now down 20 lbs - 28". I see a difference in what I was to what I now am. I still have a long way to go, but at least the first steps were taken, improvement is showing and I will just keep plugging away at it.

Thing is, when you stop losing weight for a week or two, you just have to put some more effort into it and keep on trying - it will start working again. Just don't give up and "keep on trucking".

How is everyone else doing? July is half over and the year is just past half done. I am looking forward to next year's challange. If I do get read of the extra poundage this year - or come close - next year I will have to get the rest of it off and then just work at keeping it off. What is it they say "One Day At A Time" and forgive yourself if you have a set back - just get back on the monkey and ride.

To date, I have only had ONE, yes ONE, can you believe it - Ben and Jerry's pints since I starting working on back in March. Only 8 months more to go to make it one year of working out in the gym. How many more Ben and Jerry's can I skip?

If I make myself admit in public how many I have eaten - will it keep from doing it?
