I just weighed myself and I lost 2 pounds. It should be a lot more.

There are 2 sofa's downstairs, and when I get rid of those and all of the garage sale things I will have room for the bike and treadmill. Right now there is just a path to walk through. I am going to list the sofas in the newspaper tomorrow, and start taking garage sale things to my sisters tomorrow.

It is heck of a lot better than a gain. I wish I had done better. We have a family reunion in July, planning a trip to Montana in June and I have a class reunion in August. If these aren't incentives, I don't know what is. SSooooo, get that hiney movin'.

I just weighed myself and I lost another 2 lbs.. Slow and steady wins the race. I am pleased with these results.

I weighed 191 at the dr.'s office, so I have gained again. I have to come here more often and participate. Once every two months is just not doing it.

We need to stick together and help each other out. Every bit of encouragement helps.

Summer is a very busy time, and we tend to forget all about losing weight. I know that lately I have been fixing easy meals, not those that are good for me. It is too easy to order a pizza at the last minute.

Leanna, how are you doing with the Pepsi? I am drinking a lot more now. I counted the cans I drank in one day and darn near fell over. I have been drinking 8 cans a day. My legs have been swelling like crazy and the doctor said its from all of the salt in the Pepsi. It was so bad they actually hurt. So, here we go again. I keep thinking of all the people that will be out of work when I quit the pop. They won't need to make near as much. This addiction has to be stopped so I can work on the cigarettes.

I am one messed up chick.

Food for thought about soda. I saw on "The Doctors" that Sodium Benzoate (sp) mixed with Citric Acid, forms a highly carcinogenic (sp) compound. Both of these are found in soda.

Also, a long time ago I tried an experiment that worked. My chiropractor had told me that drinking a colored diet soda would make you gain weight and clear diet sodas don't. So, I keep up what I was doing with diet and exericse and drank the dark diet soda. I repeated what I did the following week drinking clear diet soda - and he was right!

However, it is much better to drink plain old water. My daughter's hair got really thin when she mixed the, I think it was crystal light, with her water and she gained weight also!

Keep up the hard work and it WILL pay off.

Aw man that I hate weighing myself at the docs. I am sending good vibes to you.
As for the Pop I can not say because I don't drink it but once a week. My down fall is coffee w/ sugar and cream. {bad Deb}

I sure haven't kept up with my journal. I am totally embarrassed that I let it go so long. I guess it is easy to do when you're not doing the right things.

I haven't gained or lost any weight.

Things are settling down around here so now I can get back on track. I will start doing all of the things I said I would do at the beginning of this journal.
I will try daily entries in this journal, even if it is just to say hi.

I just realized I have 3 months before the holidays. Right now I weigh 189. I should be able to lose some by December so that I will look half way decent.
This is totally doable. Anyone out there who would want to get together for a little contest? Come on, let's do it!
