Talking Randi's Weight Loss Journal
Old 01-08-2009, 02:49 AM   #1 (permalink)

Well I used to be stick thin, then they took me off ritilan and it's been downhill since. I currently weight about 230. I keep bouncing between 240 and 220. It all depends on if aunt flow visits. I am going to start lossing weight because that is part of the reason i am having surgery. My goal is to get to 150 and tone up. I want to be in size 13's again.

Well I have been walking and climbing the stairs that lead to our floor. Ortho weighed me and I've lost 3 pounds. I'm at 227.

Great job, stair climbing was never a good thing for me, my knees are killing me just doing the exercise bike for 10 minutes a day (along with other exercises) This is my first week, so it is killing me to do these exercises. LOL ....Guess I will just have to toughen up & stick with it.......Hope you keep on losing, dont get discouraged, you will make it in time.

I have two ankels with no lateral ligiments. you knothe ligiment that holds the joint together. Well I have stretched mine out so bad. Anyways the stairs are part of ankel rehab. Stairs don't bother me, but the stair stepper does.

Wow, sorry to hear about your ankles, I hope they get better for you, weird how the stairs dont bother you but the stepper does...maybe I will try regular stairs & see if I like it better than the stationary. I kinda doubt it tho, LMAO ... As My Mom used to say, Im pedalling my legs off to give my @ss a ride! LOL ...Hope you continue to see results. .........Karen

It's great that you have those things available to you. Walking helps the body and clears the mind. Go for it.
