You are lucky to have the dietician and all of the pointers available to you. Sure wish we had something like it here.
Good luck!!

SOUNDS GREAT I also have tapes and it works to make you stop & think when you go to grab something we should not have.. and doing breathing for control stomach is BREATH IN THROUGH NOSE.... holding breath and stomach in then letting all out and holding breath a min or so about 3 or 4 times lying down will relax and help sleep better and do muscles good Keep up good work

I've done it! I have successfully gone one whole week without pop! I have lost 5 pounds too!

I have replaced my pops with water & 1 bottle of G2 a day. I have also cut back on my coffee. That is hard because I get headaches when I don't have caffeine, but I'm working on reducing my sugar. (I have sugar in my coffee)

Congrats on the pop thing. I know how hard it is, as I am a Pepsiholic. The caffeine headaches are horrendous.

The no Pepsi was a biggie for me. I think I replaced it with coffee though. Now I am working on reducing my coffee intake to 2 cups a day.

At our weight management meeting today we learned the importance of a good breakfast. Most of us there are breakfast skippers. Our goal for the week is to start out small by eating a piece of fruit or yogurt to get our bodies used to wanting to eat when we wake up.

We also learned that breakfast should be our biggest meal of the day. Lunch is still important but be smaller than breakfast. Dinner should be our smallest meal of the day.

We are to work on eating ONE portion at dinner time. No going back for seconds & watching how much we put on our plate so we aren't doubling up the first go around.

She gave us diet journals. It's not required but it has been shown to help a person lose weight because they consciously think about what they are eating & whether or not they want to admit to someone else that they actually ate that much.

My personal goal for the week is to increase my water intake. I have done good with no pop, but I am still dehydrated. I haven't done good the last couple of days. I've hardly drank any water.

Drinking water is something I just don't do. I will have a glass at a meal and that is about it. I found putting a slice of lemon in the water makes it barely tolerable. I know I have start doing it very soon.

I'm so proud of you Lana, You're going to be healthy and active for those boys!
Take all that money you were spending on Pepsi and put it in a secret spot. Then when you lose all the weight you want to take it and buy yourself new clothes!

Keep up the great work!
