So glad you lost Leah. I am guessing you may not have shown a loss on the scale but lost inches and gained muscle. We are so proud of you. I am not going to weigh in today, but I will again on friday. Keep the prayers up so I can get back to work. I need to find a good job. ~ Wanda

Not doing so well here. I gained again. I may have to go back to keeping a journal. I really hate doing that. Thinking over today I only remember eating a cup of hot chocolate, a half a peanut butter sandwich, a half bowl of cheetos, 2 chicken dumplings and 1 cup zuchini and 4-5 glasses of water.

A friend of mine had wanted to lose weight and ate very little. She did not lose much weight because, her metabolism was screwed up. A body needs fuel or it will not work the way it is supposed to.
Are you doing any exercising?

Good Morning Everyone

Not too good here. I gained a half a pound. For some reason I am fighting to get over this little hump. lol

So I am making up a routine to start following Monday which will include some kind of exercise other then work in there. I am just going to start off slow as it has been a bit since doing a good work out. I am also going to start going for walks in the evening again hopefully. One of my co-workers wants to start walking again so hopefully we can do the buddy thing and get rocking.

I kind have gotten off track with the eating as well. So I am going to make sure I go back to my 6 small meals a day and really watch those calories. I don't think those cheese and chilli fries were such a good idea yesterday for lunch lol. We have been eating out a little more lately as well so that is going to come to an end way tooooo many calories in some of them take outs.

Actually I am exercising. Not as much as I should, but I walk to church on sunday mornings and evenings, it is about 2 miles one way, so about 8 miles on sundays. I walk to church on wednesdays (another 4 miles) and again on thursdays.

I am going to be getting a bicycle and I do have a treadmill. I should be on the treadmill everyday, but I don't enjoy it because I have to just stand there and walk. I can't hear the television and I can't read. I don't know how people do it - read and walk on the treadmill. I have tried listening to music on a ipod but that is not enough to keep my mind busy.

As far as my metabolism, I'm sure mine is screwed up. My dad died when I was 12. But I remember (probably from stories I heard) that he use to tell me I ate like a bird. I never weighed more than 90 lb until I had my first child. Through the pregnancy I gained 20 lb. But when I was in high school my diet consisted basically of the same thing every day (at least during the summer months). I am not mexican but I use to eat tacos (2) for lunch and dinner everyday. I ate a glass of chocolate milk and 2 pieces of toast for breakfast everyday.

Today I usually eat a big breakfast on the weekends with my husband and a cup of either juice or hot chocolate and 2 pieces of toast during the week.

My weight has been maintaining between 185-195 for a couple years now. Any suggestions? Thanks.
