| Wow, everyone.
In regards to the posts, why take them out, or start a new one?
The more posts our forum has the better, & everyone will look at our forum as one big hot topic.
Adding things to an archive & starting a topic over is a better alternative.
I do not (myself) believe in deleing posts unless they aren't appropriate for the 4um &/or go against our rules.
Every word that is expressed here @ the 4um, is a catchy word that can draw someone here to our forum. So, why then should we delete posts, etc.......
As long as you store it in an archive, then you still keep the words that draw others into the 4um, here as a magnet.

| Let me start by saying that we don't have archived posts.
"I do not (myself) believe in deleing posts unless they aren't appropriate for the 4um &/or go against our rules."
The more posts and data that is stored, the more space it requires on the server - I know that over the years we have had problems with not enough space - this may have been looked after with our latest move, but that's what we thought the last couple of times. We have a very active community here, and if we don't delete posts, we would require much more space than we currently do. Over the 10 years this forum has been around, I am certain that we have deleted more posts than many forums will ever get! There is no need for instance to store birthday wishes for 8 months ago.
Most importantly, I think that having a thread with over 100 posts shows that it is very active... I don't think that 200 makes it any more attractive, if anything I would be more intimidated by it if I were a new poster.

| I did weigh myself yesterday but forgot to post. I am now 181.5. I lost 3 lbs!! Now, I just have to keep going.
Hey, where is everyone? Come on, check in even if you gained. It takes only a few seconds to post and say hi. We'd like to know if everyone is still alive and well. | | | | | Moderator Level up: 34%, 322 Points needed |

| Good Afternoon Everyone
Whoooo hooo busia. Congrats
I did manage to lose 2 lbs so that puts me at 180 again. So now the fun begins this week to lose at least 2 more to hit that 178 and then I will be really happy. Work is a bonus because of all that running around. I did have a lazy day today just did the house work then got caught up in a movie so no work in the basement. Tomorrow is another day.
Smiles n hugs

| Hi... I know I am not the best inspiration at this time but I know for fact that you never ever give up... I learn that on my job... I'm a US ARMY Soldier... Now I'm working as a Recruiter but I did my time in Iraq during OIF II from Feb 2004 to March 2005 and something that I learnd is that if you give up you loose... I don't want to be to dramatic but is true.... Bilive it or not I just want to go back and take care of my soldiers.... I know that recruiting is an very important job but I just don't get it. I miss my troops, the hard work, and a reason to do that... my wife don't undestand me but well...
I just want to said don't ever give up... If you put your mind on it you will accomplish any mission....
with respect. SGT Gonzalez..... Quote:

It could be the fact that I have to eat when at work and at home I forget and it just throws everything off whack. I think I will start back up on the Wii this weekend. It has been a while since I have been working out(since I got sick in July)but now I am so much better and it will help with those days I am at home to keep it off and to keep active when home.
See you all tomorrow for weigh in.

| I'm glad you lost 2 lbs Leah, but I found them. LOL. I actually went up to 194, but I am back to 192, and I am going to work to get back to where I started when I first started weighing in here (188), but I actually want to lose 40 lbs. Quote:

| Good Morning
Well I didn't gain but didn't lose so that is a good thing I think. My work pants from the spring are a lot loser then they were so I think I maybe losing some inches in there. Tomorrow I start back at the Wii again as well as I found a neat little excersice to do while just standing.(Can only do it at home people would think I am off my rocker else where lol). It is just a simple little dance move that works the same as tummy crunches just I don't have to lay on the floor and kill my back lol. you just move mostly your hips. So it is butt out, butt in, right side out, left side out-looks like I am doing the mombo or something. Kind of hard to explain in writing lol.
Have a good day everyone.
Smiles n hugs

| I lost! I now weigh 191 (which is still up from where I was when I started weighing in here - but I am losing again). Don't know about you girls but I think I gained when it would have been my visitor of the month (which I am not having anymore).
Also I don't know about you but I have a hard time finding this weigh in all the time, so I started a community group called weigh in. Anyone wants to join may do so.
