| Warm up those pedometers! I have a challenge for you! (inspired by MGF's goal) I CHALLENGE YOU!! to walk or cycle 100 K or miles this month! - I have been using my exercise bike, so I want to cycle, BUT! I just programed my new pedometer, so I am hoping to do BOTH! (100k=62 miles)
The pedometer has always helped me in the past - I challange myself to walk a little more every day (even whe I end up wandering around aimlessly LOL!)
So who's in this with me?! | | | | | Moderator Level up: 17%, 187 Points needed |

| I'll take that challenge on the bike.
I bought a pedometer and wore it to work one day. Now remember, I work on my feet in a kitchen 8 hours a day. I wore it on the day I was in the dishroom, putting it on right after I hung up my coat until I was ready to put my coat back on (carefully taking it off during my breaks so I didn't add steps wiggling around). By the end of the day I had taken over 9400 steps.
But the bike challenge will help me get into the gym.
So bring it chick ~okay, I'll stop hanging around my teenagers so much~...I'm in. | | | | | Moderator Level up: 17%, 187 Points needed |

| I went to the gym to day and did 10 miles in an hour. Now I'm feeling it! I'm trying to put a ticker on here, but it's not going so well. I'll keep trying. But there's my first day of the challenge. | | | | | Moderator Level up: 17%, 187 Points needed |

| I tell you Leanna - he one I have now is a fancy smashy one that hubby got as a gift for speaking at a conference - I would never have bought his.... however, so far I LOVE it! it is a talking pedometer - so I push a button to know how far I have gone, or even the current time - for someone who is frustrated with wearing glasses, this is WONDERFUL!
Also! my last 3 have broken because they have fallen off one too often- this one as a trap on it that I have put through my belt loop - it can't fall to the floor this wy! | | | | | Moderator Points: 24,397, Level: 68 | Level up: 69%, 503 Points needed |

| I picked me up a cheapie today. It'll do the trick until we get our tazes back then I'm springing for the fancy Reebok one. (under $20) It has a flashlight, clock and a few other extras. Never know when I'll need a light! | | | | | Moderator Level up: 17%, 187 Points needed |

| Just back from the gym. 8 more miles. Not sure if I'll make it tomorrow, the van we just bought in November is stalling. I won't drive it. We've got to get the battery checked...on Super Bowl Sunday... | | | | | Moderator Level up: 17%, 187 Points needed |

| Just got back from the gym. I took it easy today, since I've been on the couch coughing up my lungs for 3 days. But I'm on the mend.
Come on Slide...put some fire in that fancy pedometer:exercise: | | | | |
