Hear me talk!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! AGAIN ALL! YES:0 IAM IN AND IVE GOT A BAD BACK AN IAM 120pounds over my reqired weight for 5/2 and iam looking to get healthier and feeling better for me! :) and + iam going FROM retired to taking on a new job along with climbing alot of steps TO MY NEW APT;) soooo I have a treadmill that will be burning rubber !HEEEHEEEEE! Iam going to be moving an training this month (may not be on computer till iam set up again ) BUT COUNT ME INNNNNNNN! I do eat healthy at present BUT have had my share of holiday goodies :( So it concentrat on small portion +controll an make good choices along with burning rubber~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AND IAM 60 not getting younger and I lost mother(RIP) to bad health an weight anITS NEVER TO LATE ! :)ITS JUST HARDER :( WHEN WE GET OLDER:( AN START :(HAVING PROBLEMS?

Please remember to weigh yourself on Jan 15th! - even if you don't have the opportunity to participate this month (though I hope you do!) you will know what your starting point was!

I have a lot of weight to lose. But I don't want to set my goal so high it's unreachable. So my goal for the year is about 60 pounds, I'd like to be out of the 200s. That's an average of 5 pounds a month. More importantly it paves the way for healthy life changes instead of fast and fadding results. My reasons are simple, and probably typical. I'm tired of being tired. I want to be able to move and not run out of breath.
My biggest challenge is that I work in a kitchen. There's always munchies. We have a side bar for "tests". There is all most always something there. And, working with a bunch of cooks, when someone brings in a treat...oh my.
But I want to buy my 2008 New Years Eve dress from the not Plus rack.

HELLO AGAIN! THANK YOU SLIDE FOR YOUR NICE COMMENT I HOPE TO BE A GREAT HELP TO ALL.... And for sure we need to take this as a fun time toooooo ITS ONE DAY ~ 1Pound At atime...... And we sure didn't put it on in aday, or year, ; an theres no hurry~ no set limit~ and when we hit that :bump: so what! Thats what where all here for to talk and help each other through this AND WE JUST PICK UP WHERE WE LEAVE OFF.........Besides we all have something thats going to be hard to give up an cut out ECT. But IAm sure we can all make our goal and we have to take it slow so we can ajust and KEEP IT OFF!:D Besides all of us live in different parts of US~world:confused: So some have snow ,rain,cold,ECT. WE Just Need to be there to encourage one another ... and I thought pics where good thing BUT I PUT 3 ON HERE :eek: BUT CANNOT LOCATE :confused:...... well maybe they did not load or the commuity GOT SCARED WHEN THEY SEEN :sulk:THEM? ok ill go :wave: an yes we have to drink our WATER!!!!!

Hi! I'm Leanna. I just had baby #5. During this last pregnancy I lost 22 pounds some how. :eek: The dr will be doing some tests at my 6 week appointment to make sure everything is ok with me.

I weigh 191 right now. I would be happy losing 40 pounds, but would LOVE to lose around 50-55 more pounds.

A wellness center just opened up here so I know that will help me LOTS in working out and getting exercise. They have work out equipment, a gym, pools etc....The boys spend every afternoon there. The younger ones spend all day there. (the daycare moved there last month)

I'll need to get me a scale so I can weigh in with everyone! :D

Believe me I know this isn't going to be an easy journey but it is a journey that I'm needing to begin.
Sweetpeazzz: hope things work out for your to start off on the 15th will the group but if not you can join in at anytime! We are here for ya!!
Laura: Sounds like you are right there between a rock and a hard place.....working in a kitchen and cooking does tend to make this a bit more difficult. We are here for you! You aren't going to be needing the plus department come the end of the year!
Lanak: I totally understand about losing weight while pregnant. I weighed less the day I left the hospital after having my youngest then the day I found out I was pregnant with her. I didn't put on a pound. I wish I could have kept that weight off...but those late night feedings and snack cakes did me in! You have your hands full with your "team" but I know you will be able to succeed at weightloss! We are pulling for ya!!

Hi everybody and a happy New Year..... I want to do this challenge because I am tired of having splashing the water on the bathroomfloor.... I really hate ironing and it takes me that much longer to iron my clothes and when I walk into a room, I have to judge which chair is the strongest. Can you imagine what it would look like when the chair breaks while I am sitting on it??????? That would look very funny and even though I CAN laugh at myself, I think I will laugh so much I won't be able to get up..... Seriously, I am just tired of being BIG. I have beautiful blue eyes but it doesn't matter because people can not see my eyes because my body is in the way (hehehehe). I am also not going to go for the "target weight" but I will do mine in increments of 5kgs at a time. I need people to motivate me because I am not very disciplined.
