old but new tradition- bouquet throwing

Does anyone watch Life and Style? They were doing some wedding makeovers yesterday, and someone asked if there were any alternatives to throwing your bouquet. It was suggested that instead of the traditional bouquet toss, why not hide charms in the wedding cake for the bridesmaids. Just attach charms (for bracelets, etc.) to satin ribbons and have the cake decorator hide them under the cake. (One of the charms should look like a ring) Make sure the ribbons are where the ladies can easily take one. The bridesmaid who pulls the ring charm is the next to wed!



I hope I've explained this new tradition okay. It sounds really cool! Wish I had known of this when I got married... lol!
