Need Wedding Favor Ideas!!

[img]images/smiley_icons/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img] I'm not certain what this cost, but I know of one bride who got wine glasses and those plastic gold coloured wedding rings from the dollar store. She made gel candles in the wine glasses with the rings suspended in the gel.

For my wedding we had two favors... I really liked the personalized candy wrappers, but didn't like the price, so I did my own on the 'puter. It was really simple, I put our names and the date on the front, and on the back listed the wedding party... the kids in the wedding LOVED it! LOL.. and I made hershey kiss brides, and tootsie roll grooms, which I attached to the little wooden "spoons" and put the names and dates on the end of it...just an idea.

Is there anything in particular that the bride-to-be likes? I recently used the Ceramic Heart Shaped Vase, wrapped it in cello wrap, added one 1-1/2" ribbon with printed ribbon with a silk rose to the center. (printed ribbon was in bridal colors)



Another idea: use the small glass ice buckets with tongs, wrap box in wedding paper add curling ribbon in brides maids colors with almonds wrapped in tulle and printed ribbon.



Use any ceramic piece, wrap it in tulle or cello wrap, printed ribbon.

Well I have been to too many weddings in the past year and 3 of them close family ,soooo I just happen to have a few ideas



#1- Have the Bride &Groom choose afew fav songs and have the Cd's burned print off computer label inserts & package in a cloth Envelope ( bridal color) tie with tulle bow.



#2 Purchase rose bowls these are inexpensive and paint flowers ( basic) in color of wedding add a votive candle and wrap in cello



#3 Make a batch of home made wine and bottle (mini ones) print out labels



#4 Small bottles of vinegars and oils



#5 a pair of candles with dried flowers



#6 a small picture frame with a pic of the couple or a poem these can be photocopied

Chocolate suckers, hershey kiss roses, a bud vase with a silk flower, ceramic cherub, a small cany dish filled with mints or almonds, a votive candle wraped in cello or tulle, or how about a clay pot with some packages of seeds.
