I recently added a pattern to my site called a Vintage Collar Trim. I found the knotting technique in a book written in 1906, so decided to create something with it. The trim is made up of knotted ovals and is perfect for decorating plain T-shirts, the hems of skirts and jeans, etc. Just thought I would share this idea with all of you.

Just go to my site. There is a photo of it on the page itself, and you can find it listed under "Patterns". I love the vintage techniques because they are so delicate. In the early 1900s Macrame lace was popular and I'm trying to figure out how to make it.
