Default "Make it Do" Blog
Old 05-01-2009, 12:40 PM   #1 (permalink)

Hi all, I would love to let everyone know about my blog Make it Do I am a wife and mother of three kids. These days I am learning how to “Make it Do.” You never know what life will bring you, and lately it’s giving a lot of us lemons. “Make it Do” is about turning lemons into lemonade. As a mother, I have found myself seeking wisdom from my mother and her memories of my grandmother, Maxine Platts Morgan. My mom tells me the her mother was a very resourceful and cheerful woman, even during hard times. I aim to borrow some of that old wisdom, and throw in a bit my own creativity to help myself (and anyone who reads this blog) to make life sweeter.
I can’t help asking, Can a downturn in the economy actually mean an upturn in our resourcefulness, our creativity, and our outlook on life? In this blog I want to explore how happiness can come from simple things, and how good old fashioned hard work and resourcefulness might just be making a welcome comeback….
