| Hello everyone:
I want to pull a joke on my brother in law. He loves a particular miniseries... I have some old computer disks..and want to put them in a paperweight with the cover picture of the miniseries on the top... Faking... as though I put his DVDs in the paperweight.
I have a mold (Plastic.. food storage container)...I have the disks together...but I cannot find any to pour over it that will harden and be clear like glass! I've tried A.C. Moore, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, etc...no one seems to have any ideas. The only thing offered is a faux water used with decorative plants...but if it is reheated in water...it becomes liquid again and is not really solid like glass.
I know that there is "something" to use. I've seen fern leaves in glass...so they did not pour hot glass around it...it would have burned... I've seen dollar bills in glass..but they don't pour glass on that because it would burn.
Does anyone have any idea what I can use?
Any suggestion would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
