Default Baby food jars?
Old 05-14-2004, 08:14 PM   #1 (permalink)

Anyone have some ideas for using baby food jars? I have a bag full of them and wanted to do something crafty with them! I did a search on here for baby food jars and jars, but didn't come up with very much. Any ideas?

CALIFORNIA SNOWMAN

baby food jar

black top hat

sead beads (for eyes and buttons)

small piece of string (for scarf)

small piece of orange clay (in the shape of a carrot)

christmas material

bow and ribbon

Fill a jar 3/4 full of water add hat, beads, string and clay.glue the lid on. cover the lid with the christmas material.add the ribbon and bows now you have a melted california snowman.

ROOM DEODERIZER

babyfood jar

expanding crystals(already expanded in water)

food coloring (color of your choice)

scented oil (scent of your choice)

tulle (color of your choice)

ribbons and embelishments (of your choice)

fill jar with crystals and add the oil and food coloring.mix it well.cover the top with the tulle and the ribbons and the embelishments. if you are giving it away you can put the lid on. when the crystals dry up you can just add more water. you may need to add more oil as well. if you give this to someone don't forget to add a note telling them how to rehydrate the crystals.

hope these instructions are good enough.
