Old 11-16-2002, 03:03 PM   #1 (permalink)

I have seen these at craft fairs, and I am just getting into making my own potpourri. I was wondering if anyone had dirrections/suggestions on how to make these.

hi and welcome to the community!

i make lighted potpouri jars and have sold quite a few this year, im not sure if this is what you are looking for .

i buy rose bowls from walmart and 20 strand of christmas lights,

start putting the lights in jar and add potpouri as you go till it is full.

i use white doilies, if you cant make them dollar stores have them 2 for a dollar. put on top of your jar and wrap ribbon around where the ruffle in the jar is and tie in a bow.

you can add flowers or little christmas lights etc. to decorate.

oh almost forgot leave your cord hanging out the back. lol your ribbon and doilie will go over it.

hope this helps .
