Help I need some ideas I have some wine glasses and am trying to come up with some ideas of how to give them as gifts for the girls at work for christmas I have about 10 to make and want something different. I was thinking maybe making candles to look like drinks in them or something. hope someone can help. thanks lucy

Here's my idea: You could line them with a nice moss, fill with dirt and plant a small plant in them. Then decorate the glass by gluing on cute little bugs made from painted pebbles or fimo clay. Maybe add a simple beaded plant poke, or a store bought one, and a ribbon on the stem. I think it could be really cute!

Hi... Go to the soap and candle board. Find wineglass candles. Then find cute bridal shower favor made with soap. You can alter this one to change it to a gift instead of bridal. You could also do a gel candle, the color of wine and have fruit floating in it , like grapes or maybe glitter etc. Do a floral and ribbon bow around the stem.....Apple

You could also fill with nice poperi (sp) put a round piece of netting over the top tie with a ribbon.

Match with a ribbon and flowers around the base of the glass

You could fill them with small office supplies, a pen a post it note a small addy book and some candy ,wrap in cello and add a bow !

I like the one Patricia posted I just may use that !

I have 125 to paint for my son's wedding. I paint rosebuds all around.......... I have got to try Patricia's idea though........ Where can you buy the shades????????

Wine glasses and glasses of all shapes can be made into candy holders. Fill bottom of glass with your favorite candy. Find a styro foam ball that will fit the top of the glass. Cut ball in half and decorate top like it was a soda, pushing a straw into foam. Top can be trimmed with curly ribbon and candy. With the holidays coming, you can also use peanuts . Not to long ago I used a small teddy bear all decorated up and put into a mug. The teddy was holding a pair of earrings for a friends birthday gift. Good luck!
