tile transfers

I have seen the tile transfers in the shops, and was wondering if there was away to make my own? The patters i saw don& acute;t really suit my kitchen (well at least the way i would like it to look.) I tried contact, in the bathroom but found that the corners tend to peel up after a while, and then Dh sooks.


Trace and transfer the pattern you like. Paint with glass/ceramic paints, seal and voila..........original work of art!!!!! Let your imagination be your guide.

Can someone help me out and tell me what to use as a "sealer" if I'm using rub-on (or other) transfers on ceramic tiles to make like coasters and stuff? I have no idea what to seal the design with and I want to make sure it is quality and doesn't rub or wear off.
