Irish Whiskey Marmalade

Here's a recipe for irish whiskey marmalade:

Combine 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp water and 1/4 cup sugar in pan, bring to a boil until it reaches 200 on candy thermometer. Stir in 1 cup of orange marmalade, cook until it reaches 240. Add 2 tbsp irish wiskey. Stirring until well blended. Remove from heat, and let cool. Spoon into a clean jar and store in fridge for up to 1 month.
