Some of the reviews from others.
Comments: I read the reviews and added them all together - marinating in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, basil and crushed garlic. After grilling the mushrooms I oaid them on the toasted Italian bread with mozzarella cheese and tomato slices on top then slid them back under the grill until the cheese was melted. With a bowl of soup to start we found this was plenty for a main meal and really delicious. We don't really like the taste or smell of balsamic vinegar so I think in future I would use red wine in the marinade.
Comments: Great recipe!!... I have made this many times. I add dried basil to the marinade. Serve on toasted Italian bread that was brushed with the marinade, before toasting on the grill. Top with slices of Mozzerella cheese, sliced tomato and Fresh Basil. No need for meat with this.
Comments: This is a very good recipe . My husband and I and my daughter age 2 love these portabello Mushrooms . I also just use olive oil and fry them in a skillet until they are brown and tender and add salt and pepper . when i cook these ,i don't have to cook anything else ,we like to eat them by them selfs. You should try this recipe .It's great .
Comments: I have tried this recipe several times and my wife and I love it. Try serving the mushrooms on a toasted cheese bun. It's like eating a hamburger only way better. |
