Have you downloaded a sewing pattern yet?

I have been buying patterns online because I can't always get to the store. For some time now, they have been offering the option of downloading. I was skeptical right from the start, but many patterns don't give to option to be mailed anymore so I gave in. I thought "how is this going ot work?" You need a lot of paper and a lot of ink in your printer and a lot of time to tape all those pieces together. I am wondering about anybody else's experience with downloading patterns. How do you like it? Do you think it is worth all the ink, time and paper?
