Hi Lori
Sorry to hear about the dog bite. Goodness! The little ones do tend to be a little temperamental sometimes. Same thing happened to me ages ago when I had a little pekingese, but in reverse....he bit a stranger wanting to pet him!. He was the sweetest dog ever but he was scared and he bit this guy who petted him. I was so embarrassed and apologetic about it, though the person he bit was okay about it!
Still, I hope you did get some antibiotics for the bite and the tetanus shot was a good thing too. As a cat breeder, I have been bitten quite bad by cats before trying to stop a cat fight and yeah, the pain and swelling that comes from a cat bite is quite something.
Anyhow, hope you get some rest tonight and recover soon and get to enjoy your new machine soon!

Cheers!
Susie

Hi Susie,
It surprised us all about the dog biting me. He is the most loveable dog. He loves people, when people come over he has to run to the door to greet them. I am just happy it's over and I went to the doctors. I am happy my headache went away.
What kind of cats do you breed. My whole family are such animal lovers. When my daughter was younger and on her way home from school she would bring home every dog, and then we would have to bring them to the pound so their owners could come and get them. They just followed her home.
I hope I get my DVD today.
I will talk to you later, Lori

Lori, sorry about the dog bite. In our state, when an animal bites you the doctor has to report it to animal control. My cat bit me a couple of years ago and I was still at the doctor's office when animal control called the house and my husband answered and told them it was an inside cat and had his shots and they said okay that is all they needed to know. Hope you get you DVD soon so you can start sewing.

Hi Bearlady,
I don't know if they do that here where I live. My doctor didn't mention it to me. I live in CT. If the animal is all caught up with all his shots, I didn't even know I had to get a tetanus shot. I was glad I called the doctor. I will have to call Monday morning and ask.
I recieved my DVD yesterday, I was so happy but, with Mothers day, I still haven't had time to sit down and really enjoy it.
Thank you for getting back to me, STAY HEALTHY, Twizzels, Lori

Sorry to hear about your dog's action. Guess he was just startled. Hope you feeling better now and the dvd will arrive soon. Nothing more annoying then having a new toy and not being able to play withit.

Hi Afke,
Thank you for caring about my dog bite. I am still shocked he did it.
He is the most loveable and playful dog. When my grandsons come to visit I never worry about the dog. My hubby is taking good care of me, between peroxide and neosporin, lol.
I just feel really bad for the dog, he has such sensitive ears, it must have scared him out of his wits.
I recieved my DVD yesterday, I was so happy but, with mothers day, two of my daughters and their hubbies are coming here for dinner, so I have been cleaning and decideing what to make and writing my list out. I wish my other daughter and her hubby were coming also but, they live in MO. I really miss them alot. I haven't been able to watch the DVD yet. My hubby laughs, he says you really want to watch it don't you. You are like a kid at a candy store. He told me to sit down and take a break and watch it. I told him I will after everyone leaves tomorrow night. They leave early because kids have school next day.
Talk to you later and let you know how I liked the DVD. STAY HEALTHY, Lori

Yay! I'm glad your machine finally came. Sometimes even manuals get confusing. You'll have so much fun experimenting.

My mom has a tiny yorkie too, and even though he's the sweetest little dog, they are stubborn in temperament and even talk back to you. I guess what I'm trying to say is that even the sweetest animals have their moments. Never completely trust your pet. Oh well.

Can't wait to see the first thing you sew!

Hi Lori
Hope you had a great mother's day. Today, one of my kittens, Chiquitita found a home, so that was great. Local home here in my own home town. Good family who already has a kittycat and looking for a companion. That is a relief. Now I only need to find her brother a home!
Also hope you get to enjoy your sewing machine soon!
Cheers!

Hi Teresa,
Yes, I did get the sewing machine and I did recieve the DVD. The DVD was not what I was expecting. I was kind of dissapointed. If I had a $900.00 sewing machine, the dvd would have been great, and the dvd wasn't even for my machine.
I bought a pattern of those really comfortable pants that everyone wears to bed. Well, my daughter weighs about 100 pounds, so I figured how hard could it be to make them. Don't ask!!! I wish I had a DVD that shows me how to pin the paper to the material, where it's supposed to go. It is all greek to me, lol. If you have any suggestions, I will listen to all.
Stay Healthy, Lori

Hi Susie,
I am so happy you got a good home for the kitty. I hope you have good luck finding a good home for the other one.
I got my sewing machine and also the DVD and it is all greek to me.
I can't even make a simple pair of pajama pants. I am asking for suggestions from all.
I can't take the class, I am handicapped and I cannot sit for that long of time. I have to get up every 10-15 minutes or I am very stiff. I have no cartlidge in either one of my knees and 50% bone loss in my spine. I am not going to disrupt the class and have everybody look at me everytime I stand up. It takes a long time to get up. I have to find someone to come to my home, then I don't care how many times I get up. Like I asked, if anybody has any advise, PLEASE give it tooooo me.
Stay Healthy, Lori
