Hand sewing ideas/felt patterns

Hi all,

I am really into hand sewing at the moment and have found many free patterns which have been great, but I am very interested in making felt food and other items with felt, also useful items for around the home.

I have a pattern for strawberries and made my own cake patten, and have a cupcake pincushion, but I would really like to do more, so if anyone has any ideas or know where these patterns are hiding please can you let me know.

I have asked Santa for a couple of books for Christmas, so fingers crossed he will slip them in his sack for me, but in the meantime, it would be great to have some ideas to keep me going.
