Anyone know how to make a fabric checkbook cover?

I saw some on Ebay and I have some cute cat fabric I would love to make one myself but have no idea how. I'm not good at designing such things and was wondering if anyone had a simple easy directions or pattern for making these?



Any ideas?

Hi there,I've never tried it but it should be quite simple! Just cut you fabric to the size of the chequebook.You could use two layers of fabric with a thin layer of batting in between if you want it padded.Then sew the layers togeher,then fold down the flaps on the top and bottom to hold the book in place,stitch down the sides on the flaps and voila!!! Hope this helped abit! I think if you just play around with your fabric and book you'll figure it out quite easily!! Good luck!!
