I saw the Cricut demonstrated on QVC and on a paid commercial. I am drooling!! But it is a hefty amount of $$. I tried to check it out on the web, and found out there are a few different models at different prices.
I'm interested to know who has a Cricut, what model, and if you are happy with it, or wish that you had gotten a different model?
I have a Cricut Expressions Machine and I love it...does everything but put the cards together for me ...Seriously I paid $320.00 for mine which included 2 new Cartridges, cutting blade, cutting mats...the price included shipping costs...
My machine will cut from 1/4" to 24"...uses either 6X12" cutting mat or 12"X 24" cutting mat...
Some cartridges I have bought as low as $29.00 and others a lot more...but I think it is worth the extra bit you pay for a better machine...
I have been drooling for one of these for a while now as well. On my list of things to buy once my hubby and I find jobs again, lol. I say if you have the cash now and want the machine, GO FOR IT! The stars may not be aligned in the same way again!!! Good luck! and happy cricuting!!!!!
Patricia they do sell them at Michael's but I find Michael's really expensive...I did pick up 2 new carts,Cars & Happily Ever After for $49.99 each at Michael's,usually they are $149.00...
I have the original cricut and the expressions. Love them both. Can do more with the expressions. You can get cartridges cheaper on "OH MY Crafts" sight. Just google "Oh My Crafts" and it'll take you there. I use mine for everything. Making cards, scrapbooking, signs, etching etc... love it. You will too..
