Hi all,
I just wanted to let you all know that I am home, got here yesterday. I am doing well, the healing has begun. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I have a long way to go, but I am sure that all will go well.

Oh Mickey, I'm so happy to hear from you! I've been worried about you and wondering how you were doing. I'm so glad to hear that everything is alright and you are doing so well. My prayers will continue to be with you for a safe and speedy recovery. Sending lots of good thoughts your way!

I continue to do well. My incision is almost healed and I am sure they will take the drain out on Tuesday. The pain is now minimal and I am moving around better, even fixing most of my own meals, which is only a 2 ounce meal. I started pureed food today and all went well with it so far. All in all things are going quite well. I thank you all for your prayers and thoughts during my recovery, I really do appreciate them. I have lost 13 pounds since the surgery, hip hip hurray!
