I really want to thank everyone for all the prayers being said as I prepare for this life altering surgery. I really need prayers about my recovery phase as well. I was to go to a friends house for a couple of weeks since she lives closer to the hospital and is a nurse as well. Yesterday she informed me that she did not want me to come to her house for this time. This change will put a great deal of the strain on my parents who are in their 80's since my husband can only take a few days off for my recovery. I feel so stressed about everything right now. I have so much to get ready, and now this big change of plans.

Mickey, I'm still praying for you and will continue. I will also pray that you find a place to recover near the hospital and your parents will be able to help take care of you.

I still have not found a place close to the hospital to recover, guess I will have to just come home. Home is about 35 minutes north of the hospital. My husband was able to change his vacation to be able to take care of me. I have my pre-op testing on Friday, please pray that all goes well.

This is just an update on my surgery.
I had all my pre-op tests today. They did an EGK, Upper GI, Chest x-ray, and drew 11 tubes of blood. They turned me every which way but loose. LOL. All I can say is, another step complete. AMEN!
