Donny's surgery was today

Hi

Surgery went very well, surgeon was pleased with how things went, Donny did fine thru surgery, no probs with anesthesia or his blood pressure

He had a lot of post op pain when they brought him up to his room, got some more meds for him and an hour later he was feeling better, still hurting but not out of control like it had been.

Michelle was here with us for surgery and made it safely back to Atlanta tonite :) Also had our friends John and Donna with us.
They did get him up to walk after I came home tonite and he called me to say goodnite and tell me that the walk was hard, dizzy & nauseaus, so we will see
how he does in am.

If he is doing ok, they will let him come home tomorrow after lunch

Off to sleep :)

I'm glad your husband made it out of surgry well. What they used to put you to sleep will make you sick, it did me too.

Thank you ! We are home, hopefully he will rest better at home, got him some pain meds to help and he is napping at the moment :)
