Default Have date for Hubby's back surgery

Went to Neuro surgeon this am. Donny will be having surgery Monday, August 25th in the morning, prob around 9am

They will be taking out 2 discs, replacing them with plastic cages supported with a titanium plate.

He will be in overnite, then home 4 weeks to recoup and then physical therapy for 4-8 weeks depending how he does

Would appreciate your prayers

Hi mary - sorry- saw this after I posted the previous message. prayers and hugs to you - will keep you in my thoughts -especially on surgery day. Just remember to take care of yourself, too. It;s not selfish - it keeps you sane through all this.

i hope the surgry goes well. My uncle back in January had to have back surgrey. He was out for 3 months.
