| Today has been a day from hell. I had an accident today and blew the tire i bought in june and bent the rim. We are bearly surviving as it is on what we both make, now for the inspection in aug, We have to scramble and put a new rim and tire on our truck so we pass inspection.
I lost control of my bf's truck when it rained today. I went into a grassy area right next to southern md's pax river navel base. I was on the way to my doc for meds for my broncitis. My shin hit the stearing wheel due to the way i drive. I have a very very streched out ligiment in both my ankels, but worse in my right. so i prop my leg up to ease the aurthitis.
anyways i thought I had broken my tiba i think that is the shin bone, but they xrayed me and i have a very badly bruised shin bone. Mom says it will stay that way for months. She says i will wish i had broken my leg cause bruised bones hurt worse. I believe her cause of my right ankel ligiment. It's worse streching it than tearing it.
I know grandma will pray, but i need more thazn just her. Fighting Broncitis and a bruised bone is not gonna be fun. Good thing I have projects to work on so i can stay off my leg for a few months.
I am working on presents right now. I still have to pick up a light house from mother cause i forgot to today when i was there. I am doing a nativity scene for grandma, a tea pot that says treasured friend for mom, and a lighthouse for bf's mummy. So i will be busy.
I know i am new, but i saw this area and i am still so scared i almost drove 35 miles the whole 2 hour trip home in bf's truck. So please help my grandma pray for me.
Thanks

| Sorry to hear about your horrible day, Randi. Unfortunately, your mother is right & you will wish you had just broken your leg instead of bruised it! Just remember that a bent rim may be an inconvenience but nothing compared to months in the hospital....it could have been much worse! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. | | | | | Senior Member Level up: 32%, 75 Points needed |

| I know i am lucky. i hate crutches cause they cause my back spasms to act up and those get so bad i can't breath. Plus i can't shop on crutches, and bf is clueless to what we need. Sorry i am being whieny, but i am still shaken up. I almost hit a very big tree, and that woulda landed me in the hospital and left chad to care for my dogs..... | | | | | Moderator Level up: 36%, 315 Points needed |

| thanks. I am praying myself and I have not done it in a long time. As mom said, my leg feels like a mac truck ran over it. I called her and she soothed me and i iced it.
I have 3 projects that i need to do. A nativity scene for grandma, a tea pot that says treasured friend for mom, and a light house for future mummy in law. I call her that cause the likly hood of me and bf getting married is about 99.8 precent.
Mom's giving me her lighthouse cross stitch cause she has 2 tubs full. I'm not much better. I have 19 stitches after grandma i have to do. Some are very big.
thanks for the prayers. | | | I know why I am messed...what is your excuse. | | Moderator Points: 24,802, Level: 68 | Level up: 69%, 98 Points needed |
