Please pray for my daughter

Hi all,

I am asking for prayers for my daughter. She is a headstrong 20 year old and it seems this year has gone from bad to worse for her.

In February, she came home for a visit from West Va. Her boyfriend called 2 days later and told her that he thought they jumped into things too fast and that he wanted to end their 3 month relationship. The next day, after telling me she had been ill with a stomach virus for 3 weeks, I went and purchased a pregnancy test --- you guessed it, she was pregnant. On March 31 we went for a sonogram, only to be told there was no heartbeat or movement. The baby had died.

This past week, the hospital contacted her and told her that the Pap test they did in March showed signs of cervical cancer.

She has no insurance, and Maryland has a really bad way of "helping" those in need. After filling out paperwork to try and get insurance, she was told she's not eliglible. Why? Because she's under 21 she has to go by the income her father and I make. (And since we own our own home and have burial plots, she has three strikes against her.) She has been on her own since she turned 18. (As I said, she's very headstrong.) She is the youngest of 5 children and I am going crazy with worry. So far I can handle testing out of pocket, but if tomorrow's news turns bad, I don't know what to do. She only has a part time job (39 hours a week).

I believe in the power of prayer, so please, PRAY. She is on the prayer chain at our church but I am reaching out to the web community as well.

Stay strong, MommaNestor....our prayers are with you! I had 3 daughters so I am unfortunately quite familiar with the type of things you are going through. Just know that the morals, ethics and beliefs you raised her with are still there and will serve her in the days ahead.

Your family will be my prayers,I know how hard it is facing bad news for this past March I was told I had Thyroid cancer and had to have the entire thyroid taken out and go through some kemo. Please include me in your prayers also.
We just have to keep praying and look up to the only one who can get us through this. Crafty 51
