Thanks, yall! My GrandPixies are truly my heart! I love them all so much that it is nearly a physical pain...know what I mean? The girls (all but Brenna) have lived WITH me or at least been within one apartment away from me all their lives. Brenna has only been as far away as a 3 minute walk away from me. At the end of this month, they are moving from Titusville to Raliegh, NC.

Shane & his wife, Chelsey, moved in with us when Chelsey was about 3 months pregnant. When Cory was born, my house was the house he came home to. Then the end of April they all moved back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

So for the first time in my life, I will have none of my GrandPixies living anywhere near me in just a few weeks. I am REALLY struggling with this! I have never been a "long distance Grammy", but rather a VERY "hands on Grammy" so this is going to be quite the change/challenge for me.

Sorry to hear they are all moving away. Three of my GD's live 3 hrs. away.
The other 2 have moved in here with their mom, who is getting a divorce. It is hard being away from the 3. In the summer I usually go there for the county fairs. They participate, and its fun to watch them.

that's so hard! It was really hard on my parents when me and my boys first moved 2 hours away from them. It is now 7 years later and it's still hard on ALL of them. We do see each other almost every weekend though.
