We have had a couple of lousy days here. Friday evening my daughter's estranged husband called and told her he couldn't find the dog. The dog is a one year old Border Collie that is so loving, gentle, and intelligent. He searched all over the farm, in the woods, and then started calling the neighbors. He was told that one guy had traps set out, so, he called him and told him to get over there because he can't find his dog. He found him in the second trap. Thank God he died instantaneously. DD has been a basket case. The girls will realize more when they go to the farm and he isn't there.
Then to top it all off the cat ran away yesterday. He was out looking for that too.
I just can't believe the whole thing. That dog sure taught my dog a lot of things. It was amazing to watch those two.
Sorry this is so long, but, it helps to talk about it.
Omg! How horrible,,my thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. I can't even image that,,traps,,,stupid,,,sorry animal lover here ,,,I can go on ,,but won't.
