I don't know how old Nala is but if you have had her to the vet and had blood work done and it was okay I would not worry. Maybe you could discuss it with the vet and he/she can set your mind at ease. A bile acid test is a test they do to help determine if a shunt is indicated. Bile acids of 15 to 20 is average/normal (I believe this is the number she gave me). Killers bile acids were 130. Crystals in the urine is another indicator.
