We have 2 cats right now. Hoping to adopt a dog when our older cat crosses the Rainbow bridge (it would be too traumatic for him if we added a canine to the family). Have had dogs and cats since I was a kid. Love 'em equally.
I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 snakes, a huge fish named Homer, a rabbit, and 6 goats. They are all friendly, except for the fish--he has stranger anxiety. My goats think they are lapdogs, my little dog thinks she is a goat, and our rabbit wanted to mate with the cat until we kicked him out of the house. Couldn't be crazier here.
I have one house cat who likes to take an occasional stroll in the back yard. His name is Buttons and he also likes to play fetch with his teddy bear.
I have 2 cats and we live in apartment so unfortunately they don't go for long strolls. but my parents live in village and my cats adore when we visit my parents. They have to catch birds,
visit our neighborhood's cat, visit roof,... lot to do for 2 spoiled and very lazy children
We have a very small animal family right now - We have Spirit our fat gray cat (Born on Sept 11, 2001) and our new girl Hayley that we just adopted 2 weeks ago. She is approx 1 yr old Staffordshire Terrier. We are beginning to wonder if while she was a stray she got into some mischeif because she is possibly pregnant. She has developed quite a pooch in 2 weeks and is eating exactly what they told us she ate at the shelter. Hmmmmm She is due to be spayed Oct 21 but we will go to the Vet next Monday to check.
Due to the move and 31 days of driving cross country (from Tx to VA to NY to SD to WY to Montana and on to Alaska) we had to leave behind our 2 dogs, 1 rat and 2 full fish tanks, 29 and 55 gallons. They are all in excellent new homes but we miss them terribly. We will end up rescueing more here I am sure! We never have a shortage of animal family members around this place! Oh did I mention the 3 kids, all their friends and the hubby (when he isnt deployed)?
I have 2 dogs, Caesar 9 year old Rotti and Cooper a 7 year old Lab/Bull Terrier. I cannot have cats, birds, any kind of rodent family animals. I am very allergic as well as my son.

Well, I have my sons cat here, he lives away from home now, Maggie is the cats name and tho I did say, when my sister bought her for him, 14 years ago, that the house was not going to be ruled by her, hasn't quite worked out that way. I understand fully the saying, " Cats don't have owners, they have staff".She is a common tabby, but is tiny, looks like a three month old cat. She's had health issues this year , first in her life.
Lol, about five years ago I shifted to where I am now, from one of the country to another, because when I shifted I had no home to go too, Maggie spent a couple of months in a cattery, once I got my home I sent for her. During the time she was in the cattery she got used to a light being on all night, now once it starts to get dark here she gets stressed if the bathroom light isn't on, it stays on all night, even if she is outside for a late nioght wander and the lights not on, we hear about it. Daft cat, shes lovely tho
