Default We lost our oldest Cat Today.

We are so sad as Jake was 15 years,5 months old and was born in this house as his mother was a stray we took in during a bad winter storm. He had not been well for some time and trips to the vet were becoming too frequent so we decided enough was enough and not let him suffer anymore.

Its so hard when you lose a beloved animal. I am trying to celebrate his life and the comfort and joy he brought us all of these years.

Im so sorry Jean I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet even with all the good memories they leave us with. I glad you are finding some comfort in knowing he lived a good life with you and Al.

Thank you all so much, today is worse as we keep expecting to see him but know we did the right thing. He was the sweetest cat of the three so loving and affectionate.

This has been a great challenge this week for both of us as I am back on a round of medical tests for my chronic bowel disease etc... Losing Jake was so hard on Al as he went to the Vets with him. We did have a good life with Jake and are so blessed he was in our life for so long.
