Bath for kitten

Does anyone know about giving a kitten a bath, the breeder told me I could use mild adult shampoo, I was thinking of johnson shampoo for kids (the no tears kind). But is there a shampoo for kittens???

Baby shampoo works well. Other shampoos tend to have too much perfume. Also, a good tip I've learned is to put a towel around the tummy and hold it at the top. It allows the paws to hang free and gives you one hand to do the washing. [img]images/smiley_icons/icon_idea.gif[/img]

I have two cats. I was told not to bathe them till they had their distemper shots, but I don't know why. Maybe someone else knows.
