It's birthday party time at our house. My youngest daughter is turning 7 years old. I would like to have those little gift bags to give to each of the kids after the party, but it adds up quickly when there are 8 kids coming! Any clever suggestions for something to give that's not so expensive? Btw, all guests are girls!
Thanks for any help!

In most large discount stores, where the wrapping paper & ribbon is, they have small party favors packages. I usually check them out for my grandson--just to give him something to play with and to take home and share with his step-brother and friends. But I've noticed that they have more packages for girls than boys.
Any of these items would be ideal for the bag.
A package of stickers.
Lip balm in the new fruity flavors.
A small cheap craft kit from the craft dept.
An article of clothing that is inexpensive--socks, hair bows, hair barrettes, hankerchief, scarf.
A small paper back book.
A pkg. of Gel Pens (put one in each bag)
A small pocket size notebook
A scented candle
A pkg. of breath mints
A small compact mirror for their purse or backpack.
Just be sure you add some chocolate also. |
