Prune Bouquet

I had a surprise 50th birthday party for my Rob and I just had to share this with you because I never saw one before. Friends of ours had a florist make up a "prune bouquet" as a gag for him.



It's actually made out of real dried prunes. It's a riot. Take a look.



My girlfriend made up a basket full of "old" people's stuff with a little note describing what he's supposed to do with each one of them.



Here's what the note said:



What to look forward to seeing in your medicine cadinet once you reath 'THE BIG 50'

1. Aspirin-to cure headaches from the younger generation.

2. Efferdent Tablets - just in case your pearly whites have a different place to rest at night.

3. Muscle Rub - to use when you're ready to get up and the rest of your body isnt.

4. and 5. Bismuth Liquid and an Enema - for one of those days that your body just doesn't know what to do.

6. Candy - to give you the energy to use these things.

I made a friend a seniors cane!! I had a cane at the store for sale so I brought it home, I added a bike horn, the coloured tassels to the end of the handle, a hook to hold a bag of grocers or purse!! I got it back on my 40th this year, but will pass it on to a 50th this winter!! The original note I put on it is still there and it says to pass it on!!

So I am!! I surely don't want the darn thing!!
