Blueberry/Peach Jam |

| 3 cups blueberries
2 cups prepared peaches
7 cups sugar
1 pkg. fruit pectin
1/2 teas. cinnamon if desired
Wash and crush blueberries
Wash, pit and peel peaches
Cut into pieces and grind
measure fruit into 6 to 8 qt. pan.
If necessary add water to equal exact amount.
Measure sugar into bowl and set aside.
Combine fruit pectin, cinnamon and fruit. cook over high heat until mixture comes to a hard boil, stirring constantly. Add sugar. Cook and stir over high heat till mixture comes to a rolling boil, Boil one minute. Remove from heat. Skim and stir to remove foam. Ladle into hot sterilized jars. Wipe rim clear and place hot lids on jars and screw tight. Check for seals in 12 hours. 8-8oz. jars |
