We don't have the 99 cent stores here, but last week I did find the $1.00 Tree I was even able to get a star punch for a $1.00 Not to mention at least 12 other items I was so happy to find it...Joe...not so much

I love these stores! Last year several around here had $5-6 Lion Brand yarns - for $1 - whoopeee! I was a bit naughty, more than once. lol

As to the coins...Wouldn't a child be in more danger from swallowing those them than whatever lead was in them?

We Have the 99cent stores and our best $1 is called $rama!!! It is nothing for me to go in there and spent $40!!!UGH!!!!

I by a lot of the scrap booking stuff and seasonal craft items!! I like to check out some things for the kitchen too!! I also do not buy the food or candy items!! There is a scare on right now with Malimine in the food!! This is a plastic!!!Ugh!!!

Yes we have one that is called Dollarama and I am careful on what I buy there since I have 2 toddlers. I mainly go there for simple things like containers, cooking gadgets like spoons and such.
