| I think it could be considered a plate from what I can see. Is it in a frame? However, whatever you call it, I sure think it's intreresting. Looks like it's old. I can't read it tho. | | | | | Moderator Level up: 31%, 31 Points needed |

| Wow, you make those? It looks like old pewter. How big is it? Looks like a medallion or plate as has been mentioned.
If it is old, I wonder if the deeper part in the middle is a clue as to what it is. That part makes me wonder if it has a specific purpose.
If you made it, I love the look of the indented circle as it gives the piece so much more depth and interest. | | | | | Member Level up: 15%, 145 Points needed |

| I would say it looks like a round pewter plate and is certainly done in "bas relief". Is there a manufacturer's mark on the back? If there is, you could probably google the maker and see if there is any web site information regarding the type of work the artist does....and you might even find a name or picture of the piece you have. Also, if you are registered on Ebay, you can post your pictures in the Community Forum and ask the experts there to identify it for you. Most of them are pretty good and pretty fast at responding. Good luck! | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to neeterthings For This Useful Post: | | | Moderator Level up: 42%, 22 Points needed |
