Default help with dilemma

I need help with a dilemma.English is not my native language and i don't know how to categorize a craft. Photo is below. Does anybody here know how this craft is called? And what do you think of this "plate"?I like it very much, i have no idea how to call it

I think it could be considered a plate from what I can see. Is it in a frame? However, whatever you call it, I sure think it's intreresting. Looks like it's old. I can't read it tho.

I dont know if it would be considered a large medallion or a plate. What size is it? It is very interesting and beautiful.

Wow, you make those? It looks like old pewter. How big is it? Looks like a medallion or plate as has been mentioned.

If it is old, I wonder if the deeper part in the middle is a clue as to what it is. That part makes me wonder if it has a specific purpose.

If you made it, I love the look of the indented circle as it gives the piece so much more depth and interest.

unfortunately i am not so talented to create such a beauty I have larger photos here and if anybody know, please tell me how this handicraft is named.I have heard about "bas-relief, alto-relievo or repousse " and i just want to know if i am right

I would say it looks like a round pewter plate and is certainly done in "bas relief". Is there a manufacturer's mark on the back? If there is, you could probably google the maker and see if there is any web site information regarding the type of work the artist does....and you might even find a name or picture of the piece you have. Also, if you are registered on Ebay, you can post your pictures in the Community Forum and ask the experts there to identify it for you. Most of them are pretty good and pretty fast at responding.
