| I am not a huge fan of gaming consoles but this I am loving. It took some time for me to come around to getting one.
It is great that you actually get physical activity out of playing the games. It can be a real work out. The girls are becoming more active and not realizing it because they are having so much fun. Trying to get these two kids of mine (12 and 16) to do any activity is hair pulling some days.
We have the tennis, baseball, etc that comes with the console it is a great work out swing and playing. I saw these neat attachments for the controller, they included the bat, tennis racket, golf club and steering wheel. Thought they would be lots of fun. They ended up being a work out and a half. When using the attachments you have to work harder at getting better scores, which makes us all work harder trying to beat one another's scores.
Now we are trying to get the Wii Fit but they are selling out faster then we can get into town to get one.
We try to play twice a week as a family. It sure helps with your muscle building and concentration. It gets you mentally and physically.
And when we finally get the Wii Fit, I am going to challenge my girls. We all need some muscle training.
Just finally happy that someone was able to take the Video game playing to a higher level involving more activity.
Smiles n hugs

| I finally got a Wii at Costco in the Tri-Cities last week. Saw it and I couldn't help myself, it practically hopped in the cart by my just thinking about it. It was a package deal with the sports games that come with the console and then two other games, one is a Mario game (I can't figure it out, but DS#2 kind of has) and the other is some kind of multi-game thing with fishing, cow riding, trap/duck shooting, and others. I really want the Fit too, but that'll probably be later. Can't find them here either. It's like you have to be in the right place at the right time and I'm never either. Hubby and the boys have figured out that you don't really have to swing your arm the whole motion to hit the ball or to bowl. But, I prefer to play like I'm actually in the game and make the whole motion. Better workout that way. The other day it was my warm up before walking on my treadmill. It was great! Man, am I rambling or what?? | | | | | Moderator Points: 22,345, Level: 65 | Level up: 66%, 455 Points needed |

| I love our Wii! We had a very hard time finding one. We stopped at a ShopKo and only one of us needed to go in but fo rsome reason we ALL went in. Not even in there 5 minutes and they announced that htey had 3 left so the boys RAN to the front desk to make sure they got one.
I haven't been able to find the Fit either. Not that I ever get to actually play the Wii! Only chance I get to play is either when the boys are gone or in bed.
We have Mario Cart with the steering wheels. That one is hard! We also have olympics, sports, and quite a few other games. Seems like Ray is bringing home a new one every pay day. | | | Leanna K~ My Etsy Shop~ Etsy Destash Shop~ Flickr~ Blogger~ | | Moderator Points: 14,409, Level: 52 | Level up: 53%, 491 Points needed |

| The Wii Rocks!! We have had ours for a while and really love it. We play alot of the games but our current favorites are Guitar Hero and Dream Pinball. We tend to get in some heated guitar playing battles too! My daughter is really good on hard and even a few songs on expert.....I'm just happy on easy or even a few songs on medium. I am looking for a Wii Fit too! Most know that I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield and would you believe that they will reimburse you for purchasing the Wii Fit??? Now it won't pay for the Wii system, controllers or other games but the Fit is covered!! Now to just locate one!! More fun games are Dance Dance Revolution...that too is a real workout! We get to playing and get all sweaty too!! We have 2 dance mats and we battle on that one too! mgf~ | | | | | Moderator Level up: 32%, 160 Points needed |

| Well I ordered my Wii from Toys R Us on Friday, Kelly and I hit every store in the mall and the surrounding areas that would have it, but they were all out. So I went online and finally found them in stock at Toys R Us. Now I've got to find the fit, that's going to be harder, think I will look online because alot of places have it set so they will e-mail you when they come back in stock! | | | | | Moderator Points: 22,345, Level: 65 | Level up: 66%, 455 Points needed |

| Whoooo hooooo
We happen to be at Wally World tonight and guess what they were unpacking a new shipment that just came into the electronics. It just so happens they got a new lot of Wii's so I thought what are the chances they got in some Wii Fits. They did they weren't even out of the box yet. They only got three of them so we got her to open the box and got the Fit. We are just getting everything hooked up right now. I will let you know how it is tomorrow.
Off to play
